Enjoy a full day of Amish tradition and cuisine.

After departing our center for the short trip to our destination we will meet our local guide for the day. She will introduce us to the Amish Ways. We will learn about Amish weddings, see a working farm with live animals, learn about cheese making at a real Amish cheese factory [tasting encouraged]. The highlight of the trip should be the home cooked Amish meal served in a real Amish home. Everything from salad to dessert As the day grows short we will step back in time once again as we experience an Amish schoolhouse. Hear about Amish culture, see a variety of Amish clothing and visit the oldest operating General Store in Ohio. We will end the day on “The Common” with time to do some last minute shopping after which we will depart for home with pleasant memories and newfound friends.
